Where is Fitzhugh Carvolo?

In the last post I went over the creation of our Maze Rat, Fitzhugh Carvolo.
Now that we have our adventurer we need to discover how we start Fitzhugh's adventure. This is when asking questions and using (and manipulating) the tables within the rules of Maze Rats and Maze Rat come into play.

Where is Fitzhugh?
Rolling a single six-sided die I determine where this adventure starts. A result of 1-2 The City, 3-4 The Wild and 5-6 The Maze.
The result is The City. But what is the name of The City? I decided I was going to roll on two separate tables and combine the result. But I had to skim through some of the tables to know which two I wanted to choose. I decided on the Physical Element and Inn Noun tables. The sum result was: Vinelion
I also wanted to determine what the theme of the city is and what is the surrounding wilderness region. After rolling on those individual tables we now have:
City: Vinelion
Theme: Spices
Region: Mesa
So we now have a city that runs on producing/selling spices that sits on top of a mesa. Maybe something like Thunderbluff from World of Warcraft? Or a huge mesa with a grand city on top?

What is Fitzhugh's Mission?
After rolling the Missions table I determined the mission was: Take Over.....
Take over what? With that I rolled a six-sided die: A result of 1-2 Upper Class Building, 3-4 Lower Class Building and 5-6 Wilderness Structure. I got a Lower Class Building and rolled on that able and got: Forge.
Take over the Forge. But why?
Using the Open Questions tables in the Maze Rat supplement I got the result: Intoxicating Dance.
What in the world could that mean? But first I needed to ask the oracle: Is Fitzhugh trying to stop the dance? After asking the oracle I determined that he was indeed going to try to stop the dance. But what would happen if Fitzhugh doesn't stop the dance? I decided to roll on the Omens/Magical Catastrophes table and I got: Lamentations.
After all of the questions and rolls we now have:
Mission: Take of the Forge
Why: Stop a Intoxicating Dance that will Bring Forth Lamentations

Who is the NPC in Charge of the Intoxicating Dance?
There were a few different rolls I needed to make to determine our first villain and then develop their stat block. What kind of NPC? A result of 1-2 Civilized NPC, 3-4 Underworld NPC and 5-6 Wilderness NPC. I rolled up a Wilderness NPC and got: Hermit.
I also rolled to determine that this hermit was a male. I then rolled on the male name, his goal and one physical detail and got: Florian, Serve Ideology and Hoarse Voice.
After that and creating the stats we now have our first villain:
Florian
HP 2d6 (6)
Armor: 6 AB: +0
STR: +0 DEX: +1 WIL: +2
Weapon: Ceremonial Staff (+1 dmg, 2 hand)
Spell: Expanding Acid
Treasure: 1 Misc Item, 1 Worn Item

Who is the Supporting Cast at the Forge?
I figured I would need an NPC other than the villain that Fitzhugh could interact with. Whether the NPC would aid or hinder Fitzhugh in the process that would all come out in play. I already had an idea that a Blacksmith would be the profession of this NPC. With a six-sided die roll I determined my Blacksmith was a female. So I rolled on a few more tables to develop this Blacksmith: Female Name, Asset, Liability, Physical Detail and Personality.
Minerva
Knows a guy
Narcissist
Piercings
Scheming
Then the final thing I wanted to discover was the name of the Smithy that Minerva owns. I skimmed through the tables again and decided to roll on Inn Adjective + Valuable Material. And with that we got: The Wicked Cinnabar

And there we have a little world building and what Fitzhugh's first mission is going to be. We don't know much about him but maybe all of this will come out in play. My next session will be playing out this mission and to discover more about Fitzhugh, maybe Minerva and possibly even Florian.
