Fitzhugh Carvolo the Maze Rat
Welcome to the first (and I really hope) of many posts in my adventures in Solo RPG.
The adventures of Fitzhugh Carvolo will be played with using the game system, Maze Rats by Ben Milton. I am also using the solo supplement, Maze Rat by Peter Rudin-Burgess.
Character Creation
Character Stats: Rolling a single six-sided die I determined that my character would have +0 in Strength, +2 in Dexterity and +1 in Will.
Items: Rolling two six-sided dice six times I determined that my character had these items:
Vial of Poison, Horn, Vial of Acid, Rope (50ft), Hand Drill and Hacksaw.
With those stats and items I had in my head that this character would probably be more of an assassin/thief type of character. But who knows how this character will discover themselves.
Gear: You start with Light Armor, Shield and Two Weapons of your choice. I house-rule that if you don't want any of the starting gear you can choose or roll on the item table. I decided the character would have Light Armor, Short Sword, Blowgun and I rolled on the item table instead of having the Shield and got Medicine (3).
Character Description: Using the six tables for the character's description my character got these:
Appearance - Handsome; Physical Detail - Freckles; Background - Housebreaker; Clothing - Battle-torn; Personality - Scheming; Mannerism - Monotone.
With that I decided that my character will have the Fingersmith starting feature which gives them an advantage on tasks involving tinkering, picking locks/pockets. Also, I decided that my character would be a male and I rolled on the male name and the upper class surname because my character would want to sound more important than they actually are. Thus, Fitzhugh Carvolo was born.
